The Project's Next Phase
Hi,
Our portfolio has been selected as one of the 15 teams selected out of 20 schools. Our portfolio's contents has many weak points but thankfully it has been selected. We are thankful to everyone for their supports and their guide towards success is very much appreciated.
Now we are moving to the second phase, which is the North Zone competition. It is more competitive as there are a lot of talented figure participating in this competition. But our team has decided to give our best for the sake of winning the competition. Our competition is trying to test how fast we could design our car by giving a short amount of time which is very hard since it is not easy to design our car and trying to keep up with the exam coming up. The amount of time they gave us is two weeks in total to design and manufacture the car. At the same time our Presentation and Portfolio Manager Muhammad Shahiq with the guide of our Team Leader is trying to finish the presentation during this duration. While the designing process is handled by our Car Engineer, Farhan Akif B. Shaharuddin. While doing that, our Marketing Manager is busy searching sponsors to fund our project while promoting about this project to other schools.
Now our sketching has been completed and we will show the draft in the next blog.

Designing Of The F1 Car
HI
FOR THIS PAST FEW DAYS WE HAVE BEEN THINKING HARD ON HOW OUR F1 CAR'S MODEL WILL BE. THATS WHEN WE VIEWED THE BUGATTI VEYRONS AERODYNAMICS FEATURES. WE WERE NOT THAT IMPRESSED WHEN WE FIRST LOOKED AT THE FEATURES AS IT IS NOTHING EXTRAORDINARY BUT THAT CAR PROVED TO BE USEFUL AS WE GOT ROUGHLY AN IDEA ON WHAT SHAPE OUR CAR WILL BE BUT IT CERTAINLY ISN'T THE SAME AS THE FEATURES OF THE BUGATTI VEYRON. OUR CAR ENGINEER FARHAN AKIF B. SHAHARUDDIN HAS WORKED FOR ABOUT TWO DAYS WITHOUT SLEEP TO PROVIDE THREE FINE CAR RESULTS. IN THE END OUR TEAM LEADER NISHARUL HAS CHOSEN THE BEST AMONG THE THREE MODELS. FINALLY 75% OF THE PORTFOLIO HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
AND DURING THE DESIGNING THE CAR TWO SENIORS HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL DURING THE CREATING OF THE F1 CAR THAT IS SHEIK DAWOOD BIN MOHD RAFI AND JASON TAN. THEIR MUCH MORE EXPERIENCED AND HAVE HELPED US THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. THE SENIOR WHO MOSTLY HELPED US BY CORRECTING OUR MISTAKES AND HAVE HELPED US TO RELIEVE OF OUR STRESS IS TONG JAE IAN. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM FOR ALL THEY HAVE DONE FOR US.

Welcoming Entree
Date: 31/7/2013
We are the students of SMK Dato Onn and we are representing our school for Lower Levels of the F1 in Schools Challenge. We are students of Form 2 which have been carefully selected by our teacher to perform and execute the work that has been given to us to try and win the challenge.
We have been working for roughly a week, and we are closing into our deadline.
Many challenges have been put our way such as the last minute notice that which was last week on Tuesday, the 24th of July 2013. Since then we have been putting in all our efforts to complete the work that have been given to us.
We have done the works such as making our portfolios, designing our car, and taking the proper measurements and calculations to ensure our car would be the best of the best.
But as it comes obviously, our efforts were still not enough so we have requested the aid of our Form 5 seniors who have won the challenge last year, Tan Jen Keat from 5 Sigma, Sheik Dawood bin Mohd Rafi and Meresh Kuma A/L Manirajan from 5 Zeta.
With the help and cooperation that we have established within our group, the work process seemed to have hastened and improved gradually.
This is our first post and perhaps our only post before the qualification this Friday, 2nd August 2013.
